About Lori
Licensed Clinical Social Worker · Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor III · Formally trained by the IFS Institute, Portland
I believe that the strength, willingness and courage to change is an honorable virtue. I consider my role as a therapist a sacred privilege to journey along side of a person toward true and lasting change.
I will journey beside you and guide you with warmth and a calming spirit, along with sound clinical knowledge and experience to provide you with a place to experience compassionate truth that you ultimately find within yourself.
I bring a holistic, strengths-based approach to our work together. We start where you are, identify your innate capacities, and begin to deconstruct and remove the roadblocks that interfere with your true destiny.
Therapeutic techniques

Very effective for PTSD after child abuse, combat, first-responder trauma, rape, addiction and natural disasters.
Explore the different parts of your personality and how they interact, toward self-healing and self-discovery.
A short-term, goal-oriented approach to changing the patterns of thinking or behavior behind people's difficulties.
Mindfulness, distress tolerance and clarity on what really matters, to commit to living full, vibrant lives.
