Their site vs. our concept

Current site

  • On a phone the big headline runs off both edges of the screen
  • Page title is just "Home", with no meta description
  • The rates, insurance list and techniques are all on one long page with no headings to jump to
  • The phone number is plain text, not tap-to-call
  • No business schema; the address only appears in the footer
  • Lori's professional photo is far down the page; the first screen has no clear next step
  • Footer still reads ©2019

Ulric concept

  • Lori's own photo, her credentials and a free-consult button in the first screen
  • A sticky Call / Free consult bar on phones
  • Fees and the full insurance list in one scannable table
  • Six technique cards in plain language
  • ProfessionalService schema with the address, phone and hours
  • A short 'what to expect' section next to contact

Ulric's recommendations

#WhatWhy it matters
1Fix the mobile headline
Scale the hero title so it fits a 390px screen.
Right now the first words a phone visitor sees are cut off.
2Rewrite the title and add a meta description
For example: "Lori Wilson LCSW, CADC III | Trauma & addiction therapy, Eugene OR".
"Home" tells Google and searchers nothing.
3Add a call / free-consult button in the first screen
Make the phone tap-to-call.
The free phone consultation is the best offer on the site, and it's buried.
4Move Lori's photo up
Her professional office photo is already on the site; put it beside the headline.
Clients choose a therapist they feel they can trust, and her photo does that better than stock images.
5Break the long page into sections with a menu
Separate sections for Approaches, Fees & insurance, and Contact.
Visitors looking for their insurance or the rates can find them in seconds.
6Add ProfessionalService schema
Include the address, phone, hours, and the insurers she accepts.
It helps her show up in local and insurance-related searches.
7Feature the insurance list
"In network with OHP, Medicare, PacificSource…" near the top.
Accepting OHP and Medicare is a big differentiator many clients filter by.
8Speed up the mobile load
Compress the very large stock images (one is 9954px wide).
Faster first paint on phones.
