About AES

A local crew, not subcontractors

Eugene, Oregon · Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally · own design staff and installation crew

Advanced Energy Systems designs and installs solar electric and battery systems for homes, businesses and municipal facilities throughout Oregon.

We employ our own design staff and our own installation crew, led by superintendent Paul Vermilyea. Our supervising electrician produces one-line drawings in house, so design and installation come from a single source.

Each system is uniquely designed for the site, maximizing energy offset with available incentives and your budget, and backed by a comprehensive installation warranty.

What we build

Solar and storage for every roof

01

Home solar

Rooftop systems uniquely designed for your home. Solar can lower your electric bill by 50% or more and adds market value to your property.

02

Commercial solar

Turn money spent on taxes and utility bills into an asset for your business.

03

Municipal solar

Schools, parks and public buildings, including Oregon's 1.5% for solar requirement on public projects over $1,000,000.

04

Battery backup

Energy storage systems customized to your home, business or facility, paired with solar so you keep power through an outage.

05

Grants and incentives

We complete Energy Trust cash incentive applications and guide municipalities and businesses through ODOE grant applications.

06

Financing

Our solar consultants can introduce you to our lending partners and walk you through financing options.

With more than two decades of experience, we have fostered close collaborations with local governments for installs on schools, parks, and municipal buildings.

Kind words

From our customers

“We recently had AES design and install a 13.6 kW system on our home. Their team was top drawer all the way! We have been thrilled with the performance of the system.”
Robert Champer · Google review, Oct 2023
“The install team also was very professional and did top notch work. The solar panels are lined up perfectly on the roof and the team was able to take an on-site request to leave me a walk-way for future cleaning.”
Aaron Millis · Google review, Aug 2023
“Great experience with exceptional people.”
