Their site vs. our concept

Current site

  • On a phone, the headline ("Something in You Is Ready") and the menu are cut off at the right edge
  • Title is "Home | Body Of Wisdom Couns" (truncated), and there is no meta description
  • The phone number is plain text, not a tap-to-call link
  • No business schema, so Google has no structured name, phone or service area
  • Images have no real alt text (filenames such as "Bio Pic.jpeg")
  • LCP is 5.5s on mobile; the hero is a background video

Ulric concept

  • Mobile-first layout with a sticky Call / Message bar
  • Becca's real photo in the first screen, beside the headline
  • Seven approach cards built from her own words
  • Tap-to-call, mailto and a short contact form
  • ProfessionalService schema, a full title and a meta description
  • Lightweight WebP images capped at their native size

Ulric's recommendations

#WhatWhy it matters
1Fix the mobile layout
Make the header, menu and headline fit a 390px screen.
Most first visits to a counselor's site happen on a phone, and right now the first words get cut off.
2Rewrite the title and add a meta description
For example: "Becca Perry LPC, NCC | IFS and relational counseling in Eugene, OR".
This is the text people see in Google results, so it drives clicks.
3Make the phone tap-to-call and add a button in the first screen
Add a "Call" or "Send a message" button under the headline.
It removes a step between interest and first contact.
4Add ProfessionalService schema
Include name, phone, email, Eugene service area and the IFS/RLT services.
It helps Google show accurate local results.
5Add alt text to images
Describe Becca's photo and the trail images.
It improves screen-reader access and image search.
6Replace the hero video with an optimized still image
A single compressed photo instead of the background video.
LCP would drop from 5.5s toward the 2.5s target.
7Say how sessions work
Mention in-person vs. telehealth, fees or insurance, and how a first session goes.
These are the questions new clients ask before they reach out.
