About Annelise
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist · Clinical member, AAMFT · Registered supervisor · M.Ed. Counseling Psychology, University of Oregon (2005)
Because I honor the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity for profound healing and growth, I approach my clients with respect, honesty, transparency, and acceptance. Every individual is a unique being and therefore my style is flexible to each client's emotional, mental, personal, cultural, and developmental needs.
I create an affirming place for people who identify as poly, kink, and LGBTQIA, genderqueer and questioning. I celebrate identity exploration and I will be present to help you discover what you value and who you really are.
My approach is compassionate and safe yet I am still an active participant and guide in the process. I will ask the hard questions while supporting you in gaining self acceptance and trust. I nurture hope, resiliency, self-worth and assertiveness.
